Description

• Size standard ideal for sizing DNA fragments from 400 to 1,000 bp
• Compatible with all fluorescent based separation systems including the ABI PRISM™ genetic analyzer
• Most fragments are spaced at intervals of 25 bp, providing the perfect tool for genotyping analysis
• Consists of 25 evenly spaced bands containing fragments with the following sizes: 400,425, 450, 475, *500, 525, 550, 575, *600, 625, 650, 675, *700, 725, 750, 775, *800, 825, 850, 875, *900, 925, 950, 975, and *1,000 bp. *100mer bands (400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000 bp) are spiked, resulting in an increased peak intensity (approximately 1.5 times more intense) for ease of size determination.
  
• Can be used in either gel or capillary electrophoresis

Loading

The recommended amount of size marker to load is 1.0 µl. Mix with 11 µl of superclean formamide

GeneFlo™ Fluorescent ladders are light sensitive, therefore store in the dark and minimize exposure to light
Avoid multiple freeze / thaw cycles or frequent temperature changes
