Function Definition
HeLa Extract is required to show SV40 DNA replication in the presence of 1 µg SV40 Large T Antigen in vitro (1)
Storage Buffer
20 mM Hepes (ph 7.5)
50 mM NaCl
1 mM dithiothreitol
0.1 mM EDTA
10% glycerol
Assay Conditions
According to the method of Li and Kelly, as provided in the SV40 DNA Replication Assay, CHIMERx catalog number 8050 (1), (2), (3)
Storage Conditions
Store at -80ºC
Once thawed, aliquots of HeLa Extract that are not used should be discarded.
Freeze-thaw cycles will result in diminished performance of the extract.
